I’m Kara Kennedy — so glad you’re here.

I believe a home should do more than look beautiful — it should support the way you live, think, gather, and grow. The spaces we inhabit quietly shape our habits, our mood, and our capacity to feel at ease. That’s why I create curated spaces for intentional living — environments that feel aligned, elevated, and deeply personal rather than simply styled. A well-designed home becomes a quiet partner in your daily rhythm, reducing friction, inspiring clarity, and allowing you to move through your life with more presence and purpose.

My work lives at the intersection of form and feeling. I design with a clear understanding of how spaces come together — aesthetically and practically — so what we create isn’t just visually compelling, but thoughtfully executed. Beauty matters. But so does flow, proportion, longevity, and the subtle details that most people can’t quite name… yet immediately feel. Every decision is considered for how it will function, age, and ultimately shape your daily experience. Materials are chosen for their integrity, layouts for their intuitive movement, and layers for the emotional tone they set — creating spaces that feel effortless, even though they are anything but accidental.

Becoming a mother deepened the way I understand space. I see firsthand how a home must stretch and soften to hold real life — the movement, the mess, the milestones. Designing as a mother has heightened my sensitivity to functionality, durability, and emotional grounding. I think about sightlines from the kitchen to the living room, storage that simplifies rather than overwhelms, corners that invite connection, and materials that can withstand both beauty and play. It has reinforced my belief that thoughtful design is not about perfection, but about creating environments that nurture growth — for children and adults alike.

At SoulSpace Collective, design isn’t about trends or excess. It’s about refinement. It’s about editing what no longer serves and building something that truly reflects who you are becoming. I approach each project with warmth, clarity, and intention — creating spaces that feel grounded, lived-in, and quietly transformative. Because when your environment is aligned, everything else begins to move differently.

Let’s Talk

Design is collaborative, thoughtful, and layered. Tell me about your space — what’s working, what isn’t, and what you’re ready to change.

I personally review every inquiry and will reach out with the next step in creating a space that feels aligned, complete, and distinctly yours.

Design fees typically range from $4–$6 per square foot, depending on scope and complexity. Every project is unique, and a detailed proposal is provided following an initial consultation.
